Alina Liao

An MBA graduate of the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Ms. Liao was also offered admission with major scholarships to Chicago Booth and Michigan Ross. She has advised applicants, including career changers, on gaining admission to leading MBA programs including Wharton and Stanford GSB. Ms. Liao’s professional background spans consulting, education, economic and legal analysis, project management, talent management, nonprofit strategy, and entrepreneurship. As vice president of an economic consulting firm, she managed clients including Google, Samsung and AT&T. Ms. Liao also co-founded a tech nonprofit, featured in Forbes and Fast Company, providing mental health coaching to at-risk youth. In addition to her MBA degree, Ms. Liao has a master’s in education from Stanford. She earned her bachelor of arts degree in economics and English at Yale University, where she was captain of the women’s gymnastics team, USA National Collegiate Senior Gymnast of the Year and all-around champion, and Academic All-Ivy.
