While attending HBS, she was a consultant to non-profit organizations and wrote one of the first web-based cases now taught in a second-year course. Taneka’s professional history includes equity research, private equity, asset management marketing, and management consulting at leading companies such as Accenture, Goldman Sachs, The Hartford, and T. Rowe Price. She graduated from Columbia University with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and operations research.
An MBA graduate of The Wharton School, with a major in strategic management and marketing, Tannia evaluated applications and interviewed candidates for Wharton. As a member of the Admissions Committee, she co-managed Wharton’s online discussion board, provided ding analyses for rejected applicants, and represented the School on admissions panels at conferences. Prior to joining The MBA Exchange, Tannia had a decade of experience in HR management. Certified as a Senior Professional of Human Resources, she has worked as a consultant, labor negotiator, HR manager and recruiter. Tannia earned her bachelor’s degree in industrial & labor relations at Cornell University.

As a first-generation college graduate and daughter of immigrants, she has particular expertise in and passion for helping clients refine their vision and convey their diversity. Valerie began her career in management consulting at McKinsey & Company, then transitioned to product and marketing roles in the tech sector for Live Nation and Snapchat. She has advised startups in the insurance, healthcare, and fintech industries. Her professional experience also includes asset management at Deutsche Bank and product management at Amazon. Valerie earned a bachelor’s degree in political science at Stanford. She is proficient in Spanish.
An MBA graduate of the Haas School of Business at the University of California Berkeley, Vincent evaluated applicants as a student interviewer on behalf of the Haas MBA admissions committee. At Haas, he served as president of the Digital Media & Entertainment Club and was a founding member of the DiSC (club focused on design thinking). Since graduation, Vincent has advised a range of applicants to top business schools. His professional background includes product management, marketing, strategy and intrapreneurship roles in venture-funded and public technology companies. Vincent also managed a non-profit film festival in Washington, DC. In addition to his MBA degree, Vincent earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Tufts University. He is conversant in Mandarin.
As Associate Director of MBA Student Life at The Wharton School, Vishal advised students on all aspects of the MBA journey from enrollment to graduation and worked closely with Wharton admissions to meet and evaluate prospective applicants. He also taught in Wharton’s Executive Education and co-authored Committed Teams (Wiley, 2016). As Assistant Director of MBA Admissions at University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, he evaluated applications, interviewed candidates and awarded scholarships. Currently, Vishal works with IDEO’s partner ExperiencePoint, and designs innovation training programs for diverse organizations from Coca-Cola, Dell, Nike, Nestle, Ford, and Samsung to U.S. military, universities and non-profits. Vishal is the founder of a pioneering music-tech company that manages top music artists, and has worked in sports, and served in paramilitary. As a multi-industry professional and ICF Certified Coach, he advises clients with diverse backgrounds and aspirations. Vishal has lived in the U.S., UK, India, and Canada. He earned a master’s degree in sport business from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and bachelor’s in physics from the University of Mumbai.
Prior to joining The MBA Exchange, Yhana served Northwestern University as Associate Director of the MMM dual-degree Program at the McCormick School of Engineering and as Associate Director of MBA Admissions at the Kellogg School of Management. She evaluated a wide range of applications and assessed candidates from around the world. Previously, Yhana was Regional Director for the Office of Admissions at the University of Pennsylvania. She began her career at Delta Airlines. Yhana earned a master’s degree in higher education management from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Agnes Scott College. Active in community service and volunteerism, she is fluent in Spanish.
